Pin sharp graphics highlight 3D points of interest in 20 major European cities and rich content from the Michelin guide provides information on local attractions while you drive. Store up to 300 CDs on the 10GB Infiniti Music Box and the Gracenote® database adds the details. Or, plug your iPod or MP3 player into the USB port and manage your music collection using the Infiniti Controller, touch screen, or steering wheel buttons. Bluetooth® connectivity lets you stream music and contacts from your mobile phone, and voice recognition gives you complete hand-free access for safer calling. Add the precision engineering of the Bose® Premium Sound System and you have a truly dynamic performance.
Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)* uses laser sensors to measure the distance between your vehicle and the car in front, which then automatically trigger the brake or throttle to maintain a set distance between vehicles. Should the distance to the vehicle in front shorten significantly, the Intelligent Cruise Control (ICC)* will warn you with visual and acoustic signals. If necessary, the Intelligent Brake Assist (IBA) slows down the Infiniti EX until you’ve regained the optimum distance between vehicles. In slow-moving traffic the Low-Speed Following feature (LSF) intelligently brakes to maintain your distance from the car in front. *The system is not designed to prevent collisions or act as warning devices. They do not automatically bring the vehicle to a stop. Failure to apply the brakes may lead to an accident.
The Around View Monitor (AVM), standard on GT Premium grade, shows you what’s around your Infiniti EX from a bird’s eye view, via front, rear and side-mounted cameras. That way, you always know exactly how far you are from the nearest vehicle or obstacle and can park with consumate ease. It’s what we call giving you the big picture. The Rear View Monitor (coming with Connectiviti+ system) is a discreet, rear-mounted colour camera that displays the area directly behind your vehicle on the Vehicle Information System monitor. The monitor also features interactive displays to assist with reversing.
A thrilling driving experience should also be a safe one. That’s why your Infiniti comes equipped with our Lane Departure Prevention (LDP) system (features dependent on options and grade). A camera monitors the road ahead. If it detects that you’ve strayed out of your lane, it activates a warning sound and light on your instrument panel. Should you continue drifting, the system will gently brake the wheels on the opposite side to guide you back into your lane.
The Intelligent Key you carry with you automatically sends a signal to the Infiniti EX. As soon as you come within around 90 cm of your EX, eight lamps illuminate the car inside and out. Welcome home. The I-Key also features Smart Access so you never have to take the key out of your pocket or purse. As you approach your EX and touch the sensor on the door or boot, the Intelligent Key automatically unlocks them. Once inside, you can simply start the engine at the push of a button. Meanwhile the seat, steering wheel and exterior mirrors automatically adjust to your stored personal settings.
